Water Quality Analyst
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Water/Waste Water, the Water Quality Analyst is responsible for advanced technical level analysis for program development that supports quality improvement for the infrastructure maintenance for the Town‘s water distribution, waste water and storm water collection systems. This position plans and coordinates full, pilot and bench scale tests including developing test protocols and procedures, coordinating sampling, testing and background research and preparing reports and recommendations.
Post-Secondary diploma in a related field of Environmental Technology and Compliance, with an understanding of municipal government and the services offered, and/or a combination of education and experience. MECP certificates in Water Distribution Class 1 and Wastewater Collection Class 1. Class “G” driver’s License in good standing to use daily on corporate business.
