Reports to the Treasurer and Director of Corporate Services
The Water Billing & Support Clerk performs administrative tasks to support the water billing function including the posting of receipt of water billing paid via telephone and bank branch payments to customer accounts; Maintain and process pre-authorized payment plans and electronic payments; Keeps water accounts current, including updates on owner and tenant status, billing adjustments and delinquent accounts; Performs data capture of all metered accounts and flat-rate accounts; Schedules meter reading function; Performs administrative and clerical functions.
Credentials: Post-secondary diploma/degree in accounting or related discipline, i.e. finance, business administration or public administration. Experience in financial environment; preferably utility billing.
