Materials Inspector
Reporting to the Patrol Foreperson, Transportation and Environmental Services, the Materials Inspector is responsible for the oversight of road surface construction. The Materials Inspector provides quality control of contractor operations during the application of hot mix asphalt, cold in place recycled asphalt, surface treatment and crack sealing. This position is from May 1 to October 31 of each year, during which time the incumbent could be working in the capacity of Materials Inspector, Labourer, Truck Driver, or other duties as assigned.
