Reporting to the Director of Economic Development, Tourism & Culture
This position manages all aspects of the operations of the Museum and Archives including visitor services, the delivery of public programs, exhibit development, preservation of historic buildings and landscapes and the stewardship and development of the artefact and archival collections and. This role also directs collections, and provides financial oversight by monitoring, controlling and reporting on expenditures and revenues and manages the development of contracts, licensing agreements and policies.
Credentials: Post-secondary degree in Museum Management & Curatorship, Business Administration and/or related discipline. Experience in a managerial position or an acceptable equivalent of formal education and experience. Experience overseeing the operation of a complex cultural or recreational facility would be an asset.
