Reports to the Chief Administrative Officer
The Human Resources and Health and Safety Officer provides HR Support to the management team including recruitment, health and safety compliance, compensation administration, training and development, performance monitoring and employee relations and counselling.
Credentials: Related progressively more responsible experience, preferably in the Municipal sector. Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration. Certificates and/or Relevant Courses in Health and Safety and Human Resources. Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation preferred. Basic Emergency Management (BEM). Unrestricted Ontario “G” Driver’s License.
