Manager, Community Recreation and Culture
Reporting to the Director, Parks Recreation and Culture
This role is responsible for the overall management of recreation and leisure programs and ensures services are operated in a safe and efficient environment. Responsibilities include staff management, preparation and oversight of annual operating budget and annual user fee schedule. Administration of financial accounts and approvals of expenses related to programs, services, capital projects, grants and special events and monitor expenses/revenue against budget.
Credentials: Equivalent of a University degree with additional specialized courses in Recreation and Leisure Studies or related field. Experience in Parks, Recreation and Culture Services, including supervision of employees. Current certifications related to standard CPR and First Aid.
