Library Marketing/Communications Coordinator
Reports to the CEO. Responsible for the coordination of promotional events and materials as well as communications within and outside the organization. Manages files on statistical information and prepares reports or incorporates information into communications/reports as required. Responsible for the planning and implementation of in-library displays and signage as well as assisting with displays for use at community events or meetings. Maintains all calendars of events. Organizes and co-ordinates activities and communications related to special events such as Ontario Public Library Week, book awards, reading and literacy events.
Credentials: Post-secondary diploma in marketing/public relations, communications or journalism or a post-secondary Library Technician Diploma with a minimum of two years’ experience relative to communications and/or public relations.
