Library Administrative Coordinator
Reports to the Library Operations Manager. Responsible for providing administrative, secretarial and reception services for the Library CEO and Management Team including receiving and distributing mail for the Client Services Department; administering and accounting for all float monies; supervising accounts receivable, balancing and journalizing of daily cash receipts; preparing correspondence, reports, collective bargaining agreements, policies/procedures; preparing and distributing agenda packages, recording and distribution of minutes of Board and staff meetings. Administrates all human resources functions including facilitating hiring, orientation of new staff and termination; maintaining all personnel, administration office and payroll files, processing the bi-weekly payroll, processing all required paperwork for employees; calculating, recording and reconciling all employee benefits; administering room and equipment rentals and services; maintaining office supply inventory; maintaining the policy and procedure file for the Library; answering routine inquiries and providing liaison between the Library Board, CEO and management staff.
Credentials: Formal academic training in business administration and/or accounting beyond the secondary school level combined with experience in a similar environment.
