Executive Assistant to the Mayor

Responsible for the day to day operation, management and administration of the Mayor’s Office and provides management, administrative and specialized one-on-one support to the Mayor, including researching, analyzing, report preparation, making recommendations, reviewing correspondence, reports, providing background information, public relations to the Mayor’s Office, coordinate and direct activities of the Administrative Assistant; minute-taking, agenda preparation for specific corporate committees, preparing and submitting grant applications for funding; organizing Special Events; overseeing records and file systems; attending meetings for the Mayor, including preparing and monitoring department budget.
Credentials: Formal Academic Training at a Community College level in Public Administration, Public Relations or Business-related discipline.
