Executive Assistant to the CAO
This position is responsible for the provision of administrative services for the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer including preparation of reports, memoranda and correspondence, composing and preparing routine correspondence; maintaining a calendar of appointments and scheduling meetings; prioritizing mail; responding to inquiries and complaints with referral to staff as appropriate; compliance with policies and procedures; budgeting and record keeping for the Office of the CAO; act as the committee secretary for the Executive Management Team; undertaking special projects and confidential tasks for the Chief Administrative Officer including researching, preparing reports and making recommendations for the CAO‘s consideration
Credentials: Formal Academic Training at a Community College level in Administration or business-related discipline. Significant demonstrated experience in an administrative position in a municipality, or the demonstrated equivalent thereof (e.g., AMCT Certificate). Class “G” driver’s licence in good standing and own vehicle to use on corporate business.
