Energy Transition Specialist, Economic Development Officer - Lakeshore
Reporting to the Economic Development Officer, this role is responsible for coordinating initiatives to establish the County as a centre for clean energy innovation. Responsibilities include coordinating initiatives to establish the County as a center for clean energy innovation. Responsibilities include developing and managing the Energy Transition Cluster through project management, including planning, execution, and budget monitoring. Organizing and promoting events, workshops, and presentations related to the energy transition. Building and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders such as businesses, agencies, financial institutions, and educational bodies to facilitate collaboration and communication. Serving as the main point of contact for public inquiries and cluster referrals. Ensuring compliance with funding requirements through reporting, financial oversight, and documentation of activities for ongoing project success.
