Responsible for the management and leadership of the Legislative Services Department including Town Clerk’s Office, Licensing and By-law Enforcement; executes statutory responsibilities as the Town Clerk as prescribed under the Municipal Act, 2001 and various other legislative statutes; performs
the role of Returning Officer pursuant to the Municipal Elections Act , oversees the overall management of business and lottery licensing; animal control and registration; insurance and risk management; compliance with property standard by-laws and other legislative/regulatory standards and enforcement thereof; oversees freedom of information requests and corporate record keeping; prepares and administers departmental budgets and participates as a member of the
