Reports to the Chief Administrative Officer
The Director of Corporate Services/Clerk is responsible for the management, operations and leadership of the Municipality’s Corporate Services Department including corporate administration, council support, clerk, human resources, information technology, land use planning, and bylaw enforcement. Develops and presents annual departmental budgets for consideration.
Oversees the Procurement process and related agreements/contracts for the Corporate Services Department.
Credentials: Degree related to business or public administration with designation, plus municipal training/designation or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Excellent managerial and leadership skills developed over years of progressively. Responsible experience in a corporate services environment, preferably in the municipal or public sector. Experience in municipal elections and the requirements of the Municipal Elections Act.
