Reports the Clerk/Director of Community Services
The Deputy Clerk / Manager of Legislative Services manages secretariat services to Council and the Corporation. The position provides administrative and meeting support to Council, advisory committees/boards including preparing agendas, minutes and bylaws and ensuring compliance with the Municipal Act and other legislation.
Credentials: Post-Secondary diploma in administration, business, political science or related discipline. Related municipal experience, preferably working with Council and/or senior management. Municipal Administration Program (AMCTO) completion; and membership in AMCTO. Valid Class “G” Driver’s License.
