Reports to the Process Compliance Supervisor
The Coordinator, Environmental Services provides administrative and technical support to the Environment Services Department including the preparation and distribution of reports, documents and routine correspondence; responding to inquiries and complaints with referral to staff as appropriate; and assisting the Compliance & Risk Specialist in record keeping/filing for the department. Coordinates and follows-up to ensure inquiries/ concerns regarding water quality issues are appropriately dealt with by documenting the incident and relaying the information to Water and Wastewater Operators for response; Assists department staff with processing mail and scheduling appointments/meetings/workshops; Coordinates day-to-day administrative functions.
Credentials: Post-Secondary Diploma in Civil/Environmental Engineering, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience, and current membership in OACETT. Experience in municipal water/wastewater environment. Regulatory experience and/or experience dealing with regulatory agencies would be an asset. Valid Class ‘G’ Driver’s Licence in good standing.
