Budget and Accounting Analyst
Reports to the Treasurer/Director, Corporate Services
The Budget & Accounting Analyst supports all departments with respect to treasury functions with specific focus on auditing, financial analysis, budgets and reporting. Prepares monthly and quarterly variance reports for Senior Management Team and Council; Prepares year-end adjustments, accruals and deferrals and reallocations of general ledger balances as required. Prepares Financial Statements for annual audit.
Credentials: Degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting or a related discipline together with related experience, preferably in a municipal environment, or an equivalent combination. Membership in a Municipal Financial association considered an asset.
