Apprentice Mechanic
Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, Transportation and Environmental Services, the Apprentice Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Department’s vehicles, equipment, and machinery. Tasks include tire changes, lubrication, oil changes, plow maintenance, blade changes, etc. All repairs are required to be inspected by the Heavy Equipment Mechanics or Fleet Supervisor before returning to service.
